Catherine (Cate) Beaton , LCMHC

Catherine (Cate) Beaton began her helping career as a paramedic in Hartford, Connecticut at age 20, where early exposure to both physical and psychological suffering shaped her belief that how people connect matters as much as clinical interventions. Those formative experiences set her on a path to study the human experience and deepen her skills in supporting others through hard moments.

She completed a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, pursued extensive continuing education in trauma and behavioral care, and recently earned an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. She holds the LCMHC credential - a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor - and brings 15 years of experience working with individuals, families, and professionals around stress, trauma, relationships, and life transitions.

In roles as a Clinical and Executive Director, Catherine has focused on supporting coworkers and supervisees, and she has 10 years of clinical supervision experience. That work reinforced her conviction that relationships are central to well-being and that a strong therapeutic connection creates space for people to explore who they are. She approaches her work with the aim of helping people feel seen, heard, and understood as they navigate change and healing.
