Evangelia Botsaki , BACP

Evangelia Botsaki is a therapist originally from Greece who now practices from Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. She began exploring mental health in her teenage years, which led her to study Psychology in Athens and continue her training in Scotland with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Napier University and an MSc in Children and Young People’s Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh.

Her clinical training includes a Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork with a CBT approach completed in 2019. During that placement she provided one-to-one therapy for people experiencing anxiety and low mood and co-facilitated psychoeducational workshops on depression and challenging negative thinking for local mental health organisations. Since then she has worked in private practice supporting adults with concerns such as anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.

Evangelia’s style is warm, collaborative and compassionate, offering a safe and personal space to explore what has brought someone to therapy and to work toward meaningful change. She has completed additional training in Trauma-Focused Therapy and is currently undertaking training in Transactional Analysis to broaden the therapeutic tools she can bring to sessions. She holds BACP credentials - the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - and provides therapy in English and Greek.
